V General Construction LLC is a licensed general contractor based in Portland, Oregon (CCB #240304). We provide whole-house renovations, residential additions and commercial tenant improvements in Oregon and Washington. This policy applies to this website and to information you send us through it.

02What we collect

Information you give us. When you use the quote form on this site, or contact us by phone, email or social media, we receive:

• your name;
• your email address or phone number;
• the service you are interested in;
• any project details you choose to share, such as the project description or what you wrote under “Other.”

Please do not include sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or passwords in the form.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site may record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested. We use it only to keep the site running and secure.

03How we use it

• To respond to your request and prepare an estimate.
• To contact you about your project by phone, email or text message.
• To schedule site visits and follow up on quotes.
• To keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not send marketing text messages unless you have clearly agreed to receive them. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply to any texts we send.

• a buyer or successor if VGC is ever sold or reorganized.

05Cookies & tracking

This website does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking pixels. To display pages, it loads fonts and code libraries from third-party content networks (such as Google Fonts and public code CDNs). Those providers can see your IP address and browser details when your browser requests those files, under their own privacy policies.

If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first.

06How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and related communications for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on your project, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our records, warranty, tax, insurance or legal purposes. If you never become a client, you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

07Your choices & rights

You can contact us at any time to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information;
• ask us to stop contacting you, including by text message.

Depending on where you live, such as Oregon, Washington or California, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will honor reasonable requests whether or not a specific law applies to us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

08Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us, and we limit access to the people who need it. No website or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Children

This website is intended for adults seeking construction services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10Other websites

This site links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
